What is a street team?
A street team is a group of fans that support a band or artist getting behind them in grassroots campaigns. Campaigns may involve street team members hanging posters around their town, distributing band stickers or postcards, handing out flyers at shows and events, calling/e-mailing radio stations to make song requests, writing album or show reviews for school papers, posting info about the artist on websites, and lots more! It doesn't matter where you live, it doesn't cost anything and you can participate as much or as little as you are able.

How can I join a street team?
Becoming a member is easy, just follow the directions on the "Join" page. Once you've become a member, you will start receiving e-mail announcements about the band(s) with news like tour dates, in-store appearances, radio news, etc. You will also receive e-mails about street team campaigns. If there's a campaign you want to get involved in, simply sign up for it on the “Current Campaigns” page. Depending on the campaign, street team members may be sent packages of promotional materials like posters and stickers. This is why we ask for your mailing address.

What are the street team rules?
* You must be at least 13 years old to join any street team.

* You may NOT sell any street team materials you receive - this includes listing items on eBay and other auction sites.

* Please use only one e-mail address to sign up for any Colony street team. Duplicate contacts will be deleted, so signing up with more than one e-mail address may cause you to be completely deleted from the database.

* Please check with stores and venues before hanging posters or handing out materials as some places may have rules against these activities. Try to be thoughtful with the materials. Please don't vandalize using these band materials - like putting stickers on street signs, or on other peoples' cars.

What if i don't want to be involved anymore?
Just send an e-mail with "Unsubscribe" as the subject to: unsubscribe@colonymarketing.com
Please either send it using the e-mail address you signed up for the street teams with, or include your full name in the body of the message.
